It isn't an open beta, it is a closed stress-test beta. NDA applies to all who test there...which will be ignored as most are these days regardless of alpha/beta requirements. ><

As I had said open beta starts on the 18th of this month according to information from trion, stress test already gone on friday night US

Again... it is NOT an open beta. It is a closed beta. There is a NDA attached to the weekend beta testing. The NDA is basically the same one as the Alpha test NDA.

In fact, there is a beta forum attached to the weekend testing which access is attached to your beta invite. You do NOT have access to the Beta forums if you weren't invited to the Beta testing.

If it were an open beta, then the Devs would allow you to post your findings on the normal Defiance Public Forums.

If you are playing the weekend beta testings, PLEASE read their EULA and follow their NDA.

It will be great to get something going for Defiance through TOG. My clan only have one member me, starting a clan is very very challenging and the fact I never started one before.

What are people's thoughts on this recently? I have been watching the vids on YouTube and looks great and excited to see the MMO and TV show cross over. I disregarded it at first a few years back as it sounded cheezy. But glad what I have seen proved me wrong and like that it follows a GW2 business model.

Pfft... Beta, please! I've been playing the Alpha for a few weeks now and enjoying it.

For the uninitiated, Alpha = Beta, but on 24/7 and with faster build turn outs. So we get to play all the time and see ALL the bugs... and I'm not talking about Hellbugs either.

As for the NDA... I an't afraid of no NDA! I might even drop in some screenies here, once I work out the screenshot function... or a third party app work around.
