Excellent news! One of my top games of all time. Art style was a great choice (although during pre release trailers I did not like it, heh). Co-op was best part. Plenty to do all the time. Just a few choices of weapons too!

Nothing compared to a double anarchy x4 with fast fire rates. Mobs just MELTED before your baleful glare. Once you get it up to the 50's in skill it has as good range as an assault anyway lol.

The Anarchy's were a bit meh IMO, accuracy was always terrible. I preferred the Hellfire's - with the added accuracy you could crit every hit, with skills that increased crit damage = crit elemental burn damage ftw - one short burst at any mob then move onto the next, by the time you've hit the 3rd mob the first has already burned down.

Anarchy's are situational. Awesome for Crawmerax (where the inaccuracy is actually a bonus) and any of the giant robots including General Knoxx (get right up in their face and every shot is a critical). Otherwise they are completely overshadowed by the Hellfires ...

No way!

Everything's chain dazed and can't hit me, and like I said my skill completely offsets the accuracy now, whereas before it was never much of an issue ecause I'm running circles around'em anyway.

While they're changing everything about enemies - lets hope for more variety in the enemy as well.

I like what I'm hearing so far.

Wont be rushing in but will be keeping an eye on this, but I enjoyed BL1, but only so far.
I felt it was a co-op only game, never managed to get much beyond the intro in single player, just plain boring. Co-op it was the shared experiences with a friend, stupid stuff you did that made it fun. Even then by the end of the main storyline it was all very samey. DLC offered a bit of variety intially, but very rapidly became a drag. could no way go back for a playthrough two.
Finding a better gun than the one you already had was so rare, you ended up with so much vendor trash all that money and nothing to spend it on.

Anyway will see what improvements they make to gameplay.

Perhaps inspired by The Chopper (that nav always called "The Hose" anyway) that Motorhead has a chance to drop in DLC3?

Manufacturer changes will take some getting used to... no more S&S? Hyperion is now yellow instead of red? Damn you, Handsome Jack!

I'll probably grab it in digital form, as DRM stopped me playing BL1 a few months ago. I doubt I'll ever buy a physical copy again.
Definitely more fun with a group.
