while the original may have closed down and there are mods for it There is a simpler solution if all you want is to shoot em up with friends Go download the Tribes Veangence Multiplayer demo and there is still a connection to play with people just need to play so from somone who loves this old game im hoping some of you could come on and provide a challenge for me.

i would but my computer cannot handle the 3d esscoiciated prorams but for some reason play veangence perfectly.

There's also Tribes:Next, a community supported continuation of Tribes 2. It's a lot of fun, and still pretty active.
