Hmm well...I haven't bothered to watch his review because it's way too long and I find him quite irritating. I won't deny it, this game is nowhere near release quality, it's an early beta at best. It needs a lot of polishing, and a lot of the features aren't available yet. There are lots of bugs, glitches and hackers. However, despite all of these things, I have a lot of fun playing it.

It can be extremely challenging and really rewards patience and planning. The zombies are a real danger (especially now that their numbers have been boosted), and require head shots to be put down. There is a whole lot of banditry going on but it looks like that will ease up once they introduce NPC guards to safe zones and other areas who will shoot bandits on sight.

I paid about $25 for the Survivor pack, which is no longer available, and that gave me alpha access as well as one or two other goodies. I am quite happy with that investment. If you can pick it up for $13.49, you're laughing. You might love it, you might hate it. Worst case scenario is that you spend a little bit of coin and hate it, but there is the possibility that you will come back to it in 6 months and find it remarkably improved.

All I can really suggest is watch some gameplay vids and see if you like what you see. There is plenty of action if you want it or you can spend your days looting remote farmhouses. Again, it needs a lot more TLC at this stage, but I'm still enjoying myself. I found my enjoyment levels rose a lot once I was able to start playing in a group, and I would recommend everyone who wants to try this game do the same.

After reading various bits, and also watching TB's review (I quite like him, and rate his opinion) I think I'll wait for the DayZ standalone.
I never got Arma II and the mod, but have been increasingly looking at it, and now have someone to play with (which is rare in TOG when you're EU ), so I'll pass on WarZ.

I like many of TB's videos. He has very good points and usually a good sense of humour too. Ok, this time he was reviewing a full release of a game. As the whole Steam conversation going on is about. They screwed up on marketing and even on early stages of forum administration. So many mistakes that evolved on to a catastrophy.

But still TB makes silly judgements. Was eaten by a zombie and the zombie never touched him. What? Red flashing around the screen and nothing happened? The way out of game and back character select is a bit strange at first, but nothing to give it so much coverage on an review. There are lots of houses and places to go in War Z. But of course if you just wander mindlessly you might end up taking a circle.

So i agree with Brewski, you can have a lot of fun time in this game. BUT remember it is not finished and it doesn't have everything in it yet. Lots of troubles etc. But extremely exiting moments too!

It's called Big Rigs, and it was immortalized by Alex Navarro in this entertaining GameSpot video review. Sergey Titov was the lead programmer on Big Rigs, according to a number of write-ups on the game.

It is a really fun game and it certainly does have some very exciting moments. I really enjoy playing it with my bro, there are some massive adrenalin dumps and it is generally good fun.

It should never have been released in the state that it is in, and they have made some seriously bad decisions with their PR and marketing.

I really hope they come back from this and finish the game and make it what it could be. At this stage I'm not very confident but I guess we can only hope.

If anyone is thinking about buying this I would suggest waiting a while. It is a fun game and has heaps of potential but as time goes on and more details emerge, I'm doubtful we will even have servers to play on in the near future.

Have you followed the forums?

I ask cause I have been following them from the start, yes they have had a few set backs in Development but they have slowly been coming through and explained these situations on the forums. But I do believe they should have waited longer until they released then all these problems would not be around today and I and many other Togs have put many hours into the game so this is not just coming from someone who has never played it nor only put a hour or less into it.

The game itself is fun to play, besides getting out of the safe areas at times due to grieffers.

And until the Steam F*** up I have had no issues with the game.

I hope they stick with there project cause it could be a great game, I really hope its not a scam, but to me it does not seem to be. They have updates weekly, and sometimes multiple.
