Well. Most reviews I read WOTR gets pipped at the post by a tiny fraction.
For me. I cannot wait for the new maps and armour/weapons hopefully being released in WOTR this month.

The Gamer's Gazette - Volume 1, Issue 2 - Total War Center Forums

""If I have to recommend one of them at this stage, I would advise you to go with Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Maybe it's simply because it's fresher in my mind, but I recall having more fun with it. And pure, simple-minded entertainment is the main goal of a game like this.""

""C:MW on the other hand uses a simpler model. Instead of having to make sure your weapon's actual head connects with the enemy, you just point and strike in one of three ways, at which point your weapon will hit anything it comes into contact with. Practically it means you don't have WotR's minimum range to account for. Likewise for the damage model, some classes are better at soaking up damage and hitting some body-parts hurts -a lot- more than others but you won't have your strikes deflected or absorbed wholesale by armor. It's just a matter of how large your health pool is.""

If these are too big for people let me know. The pics are of two items being released this month as new unlocks. The purpose for posting here about them is for those in the know to note how much historical detail and attention is put in.

Cool! Rep +1

I've quickly set up a group:
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TOGCMW

It'll be great if we could organise a TOG fight

Archer is incredibly frustrating. The way players dance around make a kill completely luck.

And I'm never blocking ever again. It's far too random. I'll dodge till my heart's content but no more blocking.

I played team objective for a few hours. Some interesting objectives. Cart of corpses - really? That's how they treat their dearly departed?
