The news is apparently a few weeks old but I just saw it. The developers of Red Orchestra, the UT2k4 mod, are releasing a standalone commercial game. I've really enjoyed playing the mod, so I'm definitely looking forward to this.

Cool..I played that a bit when I was playing UT. Nice to see it will be a stand alone game. Hope they have a demo.

im pretty sure i read that Red Orchestra is going to the Source engine (aka HL2)
Maybe they're getting a Steam release.

From the article I read, they're staying with the Unreal engine (they won a license for it), but it is going to be distributed via Steam.

kick me in the balls for being a nazi but i seriously doubt valve software would release anything over steam that wasn't powered by their own engine.
