Default UT2K4 Sales

UT2004 First Week Sales - Fragmaster - 13 Comments

3/31/04 10:17 PST - General UT2004 News

The NPD Group has released the list of the top selling PC games for the week of March 14th:

1) Battlefield: Vietnam
2) Unreal Tournament 2004 CD
3) Unreal Tournament 2004 DVD
4) Call of Duty
5) MS Zoo Tycoon: Complete Collection
6) MVP Baseball
7) Final Fantasy XI

Even if you combine UT2004's CD and DVD sales, it still didn't sell as many copies as BF:V, but this is a great debut nonetheless and a big improvement over UT2003's first week sales.

New Zealand release is TODAY!!!!

I have this bit of code to finish writing, then I'll more than likely go grab a copy and play it till my eyes bleed

I wonder, are the SOFII and ET boys all migrating to this game? We could end up with a fairly sizeable division.

Edit: grrr, called the place... they said tomorrow.

Well I ordered my Radeon 9800 Pro today... should turn up tomorrow. I'm already running UT with everything but physics and shadows on max @ 1024x768 on my GeForce4 MX 128M so it'll be interesting to see what the Radeon can do.

Could you have purchased it from the US or Australia (or somewhere else... Fiji???) Sounds like it may have arrived sooner.

Meh. Latest estimate is that it will be at least Monday or Tuesday before I see the full-version game.

They're out to get me, I tell ya.

And yet, wierdly, these guys have it:

Well that tears it. My faith in retail stores is busted, I'm buying mail order from now on!
