Hey guys hope all is well, I would like to invite you to come play with us on .:XDR Frijj's custom BF2 map, he's been building it for quite a few months now and we're gonna give it a bash tonight. We need a few people to come and have a bash with us to see how it runs. It'll be @ 9.00pm GMT(ish) on our custom map server. Please feel free to come along. IP 85.236.101.93:16567

Here's what to do:
Download

Unzip this file and inside will be a folder called Jibbel_City Place this folder and its contents in the following BF2 folder...
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels
(do not unzip the client or sever zips, these need to stay zipped)

Yeah went well last night, hopefully we can organise one of our 64 man battle of the clans on it in the near future. There's some tweaking to do so it maybe a little while yet.

Hello guys

Thankyou for all who turned up to the last beta test on this map It gave me loads to think about and adjust. I have sorted all these out now including the black fog mountain issue for those running on other cards

Here is the updated info and screenies

Fixed black fog in mountains when running in med detail mode
Fixed some lag issues for some video cards
Added 64,32,16 player map sizes
Added Ambient Effects like water sounds near river, dust clouds etc...
Added high-res Lightmaps
Added additional spawn area at gas station for 64 man version

So here is where to get it, unzip it in the usual folder.
Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels

Make sure you delete your old Jibbel City

This version is now running on our custom map server:
