Default Having trouble flying in BF2 ?

For ages I couldn't work out why my helo or jet would suddenly skew off to the right when I took off. I changed J/sticks to a 3D extreme, I d/loaded the drivers, I re-calibrated, I removed all profiles and reinstalled, many times and still I couldnt fly.
I googled BF2 forums, I searched logitech, I pulled my hair out.

I finally got it. It was my mouse - even the new one I just installed caused it.

Solution - In BF2 <controls> remove any mouse controls for helo or aircraft. - worked beautifully.

a good joystick reference site is http://www.intel.planetbattlefield.g.../joystick.html

I think the reason that I couldn't find any solutions to this was that the ones who did work it out dont want to let the rest know because they dont want too many ppl going for the planes/helos.
