SWAT 4 - U.S. TOG'ers

I recently bought the SWAT 4 Gold Edition and really enjoying it. I was thinking about giving multiplayer a go, but didn't want to hit some pub servers. Any U.S. TOG'ers out there play Swat 4? I don't remember seeing a subforum for it.

Also, anyone out there get a weird wireframe image when the game first loads?? It displays before the Sierra movie and then again before the main menu loads. Once I load into or exit a mission, I get a black screen with some kind of strange texture image at the lower right of the screen. I installed Swat 4, then the 1.1 patch, then Stetchkov. Perhaps a reinstall may fix it as well as reinstalling video drivers (which are at the latest WHQL. 84.21??), but wanted to ask here first.

I don't get those video issues you mentioned. I'd look at your video settings and perhaps get a driver update. I get a black screen for about 10 seconds then a few "badge" screens (Sierra, NVidia etc), a full motion movie intro (as boring as it is) and then the game menu.

Well, I'm already using the latest Nvidia WHQL drivers, but clean reinstalled them last night. Also removed and reinstalled Swat. Still get the weird wireframe image (post later), and the odd texture between mission loads. Oddly, the game crashed once after playing through the first mission and half of the second. After rebooting, the game locked when i completed the second mission and chose debrief. Suppose I'll lower bump mapping and textures back to med, but this and Oblivion are the only 2 games I've recently had problems with.
