lag reduction video card

dont know much about these things, anyone heard of this?...now we have video cards the physics card and now this?....i let someone more knowledgeable look at it

Extremetech had an article about it earlier in the year:

Their interpretation of these cards was that their function was to reduce the spikes - as Scotty said "ya canny change the laws of physics", so they're not going to give us Aussies a sub-150 ping to US based servers. Cutting off the spikes would probably help though, I've just ran a test of my ping to us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com - I get an average of 180 ms to the last non-firewalled IP, with a minimum of 166 and maximum of 869 ms to that IP. Getting rid of those spikes about 200 ms would certainly reduce the apparent lag that I'd get when playing.
