The ladder finals will be made up of the top 8 teams and will play in the following lineup which was put forward and voted on by the community:

the playing dates for the matches are listed under each round.

Round 1

(A)The Infantry vs Escaped Mental Patients
(B)LANded vs Hybrid
(C)Immortal Gods vs imminent Darkness
(D)Oxygen vs Brothers in Arms


(A) and (B) at Friday 2nd of May at 7:30pm (C) and (D) at Friday 2nd of May at 9:30pm

Round 2

(E)(winner A)v(winner B)->winner gets Round 3 bye
(F)(winner C)v(winner D)->winner gets Round 3 bye
(G)(loser A)v(loser B)
(H)(loser C)v(loser D)

(E) and (F) on Monday 5th of May at 7:30pm
(G) and (H) on Monday 5th of May at 9:30pm

Round 3

(I) (winner G)v(loser F)
(J) (winner H)v(loser E)

both on Wed 7th of May, (I) at 7:30pm and (J) at 9:30pm

Round 4

(K)(winner E)v(winner F)->winner gets Round 5 bye
(L)(winner I)v(winner J)

(K) and (L) on Friday 9th of May at 7:30 and 9:30pm respectivly

Round 5

(M)(winner L)v(loser K)

(M) play on Sunday 11th of May at 7pm

Round 6 - Grand Final

(N)(winner K)v(winner M)

(N) play on Wed 14th of May at 7:30pm


MAPS
thay have been chosen for each stage of the finals.
no clan will be told what maps are going to be played till it comes up in the rotation on the night. the only people that will know is the 3 gameops, and maybe the refs that are refing the finals matches. This is to try and give every team the most level playing field possible, ie: skill on all maps, not just a few.

Refs
We are going to try and have 1 gameop and 1 ref to "ref" each match in every round. in some cases this may not work due to personal life such as work etc. but we will try.
Each ref will take screenshots and a demo that will be made publicly available after the match has taken place. The chances of having the demos hosted on GA isnt *too* high since the admins are more busy then normal (due to term going on hols), and there will be a fair few demos to go around.. which means alot of mirroring etc. So, for now they will just be mirrored on people personal accounts and links posted on the forums and in COGS.

Servers & IPs
The normal GC server will be used, and the dem server will be converted into a ladder server just for the first 2 rounds. So, no need to add IPs and ports.

The demo from the finals are available from http://sof2.ausgenerals.com/. This would be interesting as we could see how the top teams perform on each match, and we could learn something from them.

hmm I have just realise the link is pointing to AusGenerals. I guess they have found a better use for the server than wasting it on C&C: Generals :P

Of course, if I don't see any M60's being used they will lose ALL my respect. :P
