This game is very cool. Graphics are good, don't need a high end machine for smooth play.
Good weapons, the "leased" weapons you buy with in game currency (XP really, easy enough to earn) are good value and do give you an edge, esp a close quarters.
Lowest ping I have got is 65 on the US west coast, but I'm sure we'll get Aussie ones when it goes full.

What's it like comparitively? Like Enemy Territory, but in a BF2 style (including Motorbikes, APC's Tanks, Helo's, Jets etc). Great game play, but I can see some spawn camping problems in the future.

All in all, this has the potential to be a killer game....

Yea there few things they need to tweak to make the game more viable, spawn camping being one of them.

I also have a problem with the vehicles in the game. There are to many of them and respawn way to fast for maps the size they are. I don't mind tanks and what not but my feeling is that once there destroyed thats it no more. It forces you to use them tacticaly it also prevents the constent rapping that goes on with them, its to easy to take out people with them while taking out tanks and what not is rather a chore. The other thing is they need to change how grenades are thrown, right now there kind of useless cause you can't control how far there thrown, so more times then not you end up missing your intended target.

The other issue I have is that some times when you get shot it thrust you forward. I also think they should pull back on the rocking motion when things exploid.

Other then that I think its a great game, its fast and easy to pick up, and no you dont really need to buy the weapons to give your self an edge. I can walk away with major kills with just the basic sniper rifle.

I enjoy this game vs Battlefield and American Army cause its fast paced and easy to make kills so you don't feel like your useless and get frustrated. Its very easy to pick up and doesn't require years of FPS play to be decent at.

Regards comparison to AA.... this game is not in the same vein. AA has no respawn, you die thats it..like RL. Anyway....
I had an awesome game last night with some aussie guys, 10 v 10 on one of the smaller maps.

They need to make the uncappable bases more obvious, bring in some sort of invulnerablity when you respawn to stop spawn camping..but otherwise. I agree with Sorath on the 'nades, they take some practice. The helos take a LOT of practice to be able to at least hit targets.

I spent a little of my in game dinero and got myself a better secondary weapon (MP5 Vs 9mm pistol) and a better primary for my medic/engy. Got some kick arse kills, but had a ball.

This game would rock (bad pun) if we get an Aussie server, but I have found the west coast US ones good enough.
