DOOM 3 has GONE GOLD! (PC)
id Software announces its eagerly anticipated DOOM 3 has gone gold and will arrive in stores as early as August 3rd!

Doom started a lot of game playing for me, I am sure DOOM3 there will weekends tied up with game play! lol

OMG doom was it First game I played head to head on other then the old text RPG's. That was the coolest...wonder if the new one will scare y a as much as the Doom II

From the previews and advertisments, this isn't a game for 12 year olds. The music and sounds are once again done by Trent Rezner from Nine Inch Nails, and the story and lighting is supose to horror.

I think it's safe to say there will be a large contingent playing this one. Although from what I heard, the MP supports a very low player count out of the box. Dunno how that's going to work. I'm assuming (or at least hoping) it'll be patched to support more than 4 players eventually.

Great news. Hopefully Valve will be close behind. Just hope my machine can handle it. Please oh please have decent multiplayer. please oh please oh please.

And just in case. Excuse any ignorance of whether they are having multiplayer or not. I stopped reading about the game over a year ago. I get real tired of hype without delivery. Same goes for HL2.
