Played some rounds of a combat game called SPLEEF the other night on a Creative Server.

There is a 26x26 square arena and 4 players start in each corner, then try to dig a layer of snow and dirt out from each others feet with shovels. There is a long fall to a nasty pit at the bottom, and an observation deck to watch the matches.

Was great fun...

Cool. Perhaps on top of the SE abandoned mine or south of the golf course tavern? Or if you want to stay away from potential future village sites, then on the eastern border?

The Lava pit was fine as we went into the match with empty inventory apart from the shovels the Admin supplied. There is also a locker room if any players needed to drop off gear. Playing above the lava gave the match a real sense of urgency and adrenalin rush On death we could warp back to the Arena for the next round.

A non-deadly version could fall into water as no damage is suffered from any height.

we planned to have some spleefing in the TOGosseum, but it never ended up happening.... actually Bazz was building a sleef arena on Sanctuary, but it turned into an opera house

I think we definitely need to make a spleef arena!!
