I am extremely surprised as how good this rpg is!
This small polish developer has pushed the Bioware nwn2 engine far beyond anything done at obsidian. The combat is easy to start hard to master, and the spells are the same. The talent system is cool but what its strength is, the story. I find myself listening to every cutscene and talking to every person just to learn more about the world. My only gripe is the inventory system but that's due for a fixup in the comming patches. It has a lot of developer support so future patches are definatly comming to help with stability and fix some of the issues the community are raising on their offical site. anyways just suprised there wasn't already a witcher thread so here it is ![]() Oh and its adult based so not for the kiddies! Wasn't familiar with the game. May have to check it out. From a brief search on it, looks like the US version has been censored a bit, so may be worth getting a Europian version. I assume you picked yours up in Aust, any idea if it's the US or Europe version?

I think they did a review on it on the Good Game.
I think 2 weeks ago. Looked and sounded good.

I Downloaded this on Sunday, some big files there, so took a few hours, but anyhow, it is extremely good, I got to agree. Apart from MMO's, RPG is my thing, and this game delivers in spades. Maybe not as much freedom as the Elder Scrolls series, but the cut scenes, the dialogues, interactions and quests make up for that. (hehe or maybe I have been so intent on the quests I have not explored as much as I normaly would
)I just can't get enough, and that for me is a good sign, a game that keeps me hungry. top marks. Leon

very cool. I think that lure or pull to play a game is what we are all after. Nothing worse than spending $100 or so on a game after reading reviews and stories for months and then going 'meh' after about an hour or so.
I will definitely check this one out next time I am looking for a game. thanks guys. |
