Good point. So used to playing STEAM for every game.

I can't promise anything this week due to first week back from leave ... between work, DoD:s war commitments and my course (which I'm now behind in), I have to do some catching up.

I'll post up as soon as I know what my weeks commitments are.

Btw everyone, 1.4 patch has been released, you might want to grab it. Apparently a very good update - AI is nasty again.

I'm a huge strategy game player and I was looking forward to this one very much - sorry to say I'm underwhelmed. Played quite a lot for a few days and got bored real quick. Doesn't compare to MOO2.

have you tried sots? it is much better as a tbs.. being RTS Sins has to make some compromises, and I find there is plenty to do during games as it is

Bailknight's graphics mod has been updated for 1.04.. you have to try this if you think the normal SINS is a bit 'non-flashy' in battles

Hi Guys,

Seen a review of this in a PC mag awhile ago and it looked like it was my kind of game. Big fan of the MOO1 and MOO2 (MOO 3 was a heart breaker).

The graphics look great, was wondering just how beefy a system you need to run it well. (I know the min sys specs, but i never trust them). Also wondering where the best place to buy online would be, don't mind downloading it.

Thanks!

it is highly scaleable.. should run on modest systems with the graphics not on super high.

However, it is an RTS, so in some respects it is never going to be as deep as MOO was .. Gal Civ or Sword of the Stars are closer to MOO in my opinion

Having said that, it is good fun
