OP: Are you saying that they are having another expansion in April for Dawn of War when they just released one? That looks more like a Sister of Battle than a Space Marine silouette to me.

Nah, someone already found that silhouette online and did a match-up. It's a Space Marine apparently.
So nope, the picture is pretty clear from the PC Gamer teaser page - it's Dawn of War 2. The last expansion for the current Dawn of War 1 is the recently released Soulstorm expansion with the Sisters of Battle and the Dark Eldar. It brings the number of W40k races up to 9! Wow!

Picked up Soulstorm a few weeks ago, been playing like crazy, a few little bugs but still good all the same.
Be interesting to see how they do DoW2 and see what races they include.

Yeah, I wondered the same thing.. how many races will make the cut. It will be hard for fans to go back from the current 9. Although, tbh, COH ended my DOW gaming days, just couldn't face the limited unit responses and limited cover system. I've always hoped for DOW in a COH type engine.

As far as I understand one of the main reasons for DoW2 is the addition of Tyranids, mainly because the current engine won't cater for that many individual units. I would like to see better AI and squad movement in the next one, nothing worse than sending a front forward and seeing them all trip over one another, Leman Russ getting stuck etc. I'd like to think that perhaps we might see some Warhound and Revenant class titans and maybe some more of the super heavy class tanks. An engine that can push more poly's and shaders would be great for some real burnt imperial city battles.

Ok I've had a bit of a look around and it seems that it will be using the Relics new Essence engine (Company of Heroes) plus what ever upgrades they decide to do to it in the mean time. This means that we'll get deformable terrain, cover (Thankyou) and directional damage (which is a big part of the table top game) and DX10, plus the ability to actually use buildings can't wait.

DX10 as a minimum? madness... not that many will be on vista by then. It's crazy to cut out so much of your market by using a tech cut-off like that.
Hooray for cover, directional damage etc, deformable terrain.. should be fanstastic.
