Agreed - C&C is pretty much antiquated and has nothing to do with real strategy in a lot of ways. Just not that interesting in this day and age. After DoW and CoH came out, the bar was set really high for RTSs and a lot of the older ones (or RTSs from smaller or more unknown devs) just haven't cut the mustard anymore.
