Games won't be sold without classification downunder here, that goes without saying. Overseas purchases are sometimes prevented, depending on the merchant site or more typically the game by region, i.e digital purchase in Canada and North America only.

If its something simple like renaming your stim drug to something more legal say, milk, the more eager gamers typically put out an unofficial patch to 'fix' said issue. Like the unofficial patch of adding the children back in for FO and FO2, which if I recall was removed for obviously obvious reasons some arsehole in the classification booth thought necessary.

yep, find an overseas site and get it posted here. I use Zest in thailand for many games. Pretty cheap too, just have to make sure the game is in english, because usually the localisation only extends to the box and manual.

Good news people!!! Not only will Fallout 3 be released worldwide within two months
(yes, even Australia) but from all accounts so far, it's set to be the next big/great thing! ![]() Great review here from bit-tech.net - essentially giving it the double thumbs up! Very good news for me! I've been a Fallout fanboi for a long time, and have had every hope that Bethesda would do the title proud, but had always had fears that it just wouldn't be "right" somehow. Sounds like my fears have been groundless!Quote:

Whoops, my mistake
Thought I had read that it'd been approved, but can't find where now, which makes me think it's just in my head Until further notice I guess it's still been refused classification. Get it from overseas anyway ![]()
