They already have a tech demo they are using, everything dev'd so far has been out of their own pockets, thats why I dare say they can't employ a professional translator/script writer.
The movie of the tech demo/Prelude they have been showing is here.

I do agree though, if they don't get the language sorted this will end up being a post apocalyptic RPG and not a true extension of the Fallout universe on which it was based, lacking the humour that made the fallout series unique.

RE: Afterfall, given their FAQ, I think their English is pretty good. I think it also helps that they use central Europe as their setting.
Re: FO3 being a single-player RPG, I wonder it will do in terms of sales. |

The graphics & music kept the original's feel.
I count myself suitably teased. I won't go pre-ordering though... I want to see what the actual gameplay is like before they get any of my money.

I'm the same Adeptus, I thought they carried it off well with the teaser, definately had a Fallout feel to it. On closer inspection I have a feeling that was actually in engine and not pre-rendered, if I am right then I am doubly impressed.

Says is using the in game engine:
Some comments from Pete Hines, Bethesda's PR-in-chief: 1) Yes, that's in-engine (in-engine means it's done with game assets in our rendering engine, but isn't done real-time. If it was done in real-time, that'd be gameplay footage. This isn't something, for example, that was sent to some house [e.g. Blur Studios] so they could build assets and render it out, and create something for us to release [e.g. Dawn of War 40K intro cinematic]). |
