NWN Game #2 finally got to play again!

Well, finally got my server up and running last night after a 2 or 3 week layoff due to unavailability of players with holidays and no broadband connection for Rickety.

Bloody good fun, had a few issues with server and PC crashes during the game though - regular savings fortunately prevented any catastrophes.

Did you guys on the Redman/Warbear server have any problems with 1.28? We had 3 of the 4 PC's crash out of NWN at least once last night.

Nope. No problems that we saw - on the first night we did have a problem transitioning from Level 4 to Level 5.

Probably due to the sheer size of the two levels transition-ing to and from.

though we did hace one issue last night - we had one glitch - where people lost stuff - and I had a dwarf decide I looked bad and attacked me

in the end I died - lost a level AND a flametongue sword I was going to sell

The issue I had with my crash last night was due to the transition between levels 3 and 4. Possibly because it was such a large map.

No other problems.

Gee this game is fun though. I made the comment last night. Eye of the Beholder must definitely be in the Forgotten Realms. Reason? The sheer number of magical items. They are abundant as the flowing of an everlasting spring. :P

I like this game, really I do. I want to play more. The barbarian Carind, is fun to play - he doesn't dish out as much damage as Talin does, but still is an extremely fun character to play. Not sure if it's because of the fact that he's got hideous armour and weapons or because his skill set is actually good.

Cailith now has a new 20GB ATA-100 HDD kindly donated by Solis. He'll rebuild his machine and hopefully, our NWNning experiences will come through a little bit faster in weeks to come.

LOL Frin Dubya certainly dishes out some good hits. Looks funny when the halfling rogue does a knock down too.

Got 3 levels of Fighter, 6 of Rogue. Don't need anymore fighter at this stage, but the Rogue skills are definitely lacking. Got killed twice in 1 minute by standing on successive traps that I just didn't see.

Actually technically, if we went by the timeline of when games were released, and the worlds available, it would be MNystara, in Gilantri.

FR was not around then, though some elements (silverymoon and a few other places) existed, they were set nowhere.
