Hey, I never knew this, but there's a NeverWinter Nights Server on GameArena.

202.12.147.93:5121

As of 19:36 AEST, it was running a module named: NorDock and had 29 of the allowed 64 players on the server.

I was pinging an average of 117. Around about the same or at least extremely similar speed as when I was on RedMan's or Cailith's servers. (I'm on Internode ADSL, RedMan and Cailith are on Optus Cable.)

Lets join into the GA server after we've finished Eye of the Beholder in about 10 weeks time.

Hardcore rules?

Is that like the rules that have been applied to the Raven module we played and abandoned due to poor module design and story before starting the EOTB module?

Was good fun playing with the limitations set of rest once per 8 hour period, must have food and bedroll before resting, -10hp is death etc.

One of the things about creating a more enjoyable gameplay experience is the risk of death. Raven's hardcore rules are definitely better as the limitations make you depend on a cleric or healing potions or more clever tactics.

If Nordock is similar to that, then I'm all for it... will be especially more difficult depending on which direction you look at. Easier possibly to go through areas, more difficult as we'll have to coordinate the attacks to achieve this and keep healthy enough to manage the next combat that will inevitably come.

That's them. I ping 60 or so to the server, but, i'm on big puddle - also, item level limits will apply...and as it is persistant, most of the close areas to the starting areas will be done...

If you want to reach your useage limit in a week then join the GA server. NWN uses A LOT of bandwidth with a lot of players. I'll admit that this was a while ago but use with caution.
