There's been no activity happening on here for the past few weeks so I thought I'd just whack in a post to talk about well, what else? Neverwinter Nights!

I heard Server #1 was canceled last night because Warbear had to work.

Server #2 should be firing tonight as Cailith said he wants to play. Maybe maybe maybe we can catch up slightly to Server #1 tonight.

Hmm. 30/3/03 bit of a mirror huh?

Oh well - for the benefit of Solis and Shunt who did not attend the game, we decided to fire up the game as we have missed it for a couple of weeks in a row. Continuing to miss the game would mean we will start to lose track of the game and ultimately lose interest which of course is a bad thing.

Basically we kicked off from where we were in level 6. We were almost complete with level 5, so quickly ventured into level 7. Rickety started capping off at the high level cleric spells. We had Frin scouting as usual and palming off the sneak attacks for humongous damage.

Carind of course took the brunt of the interest from the monsters, allowing Frin to do some sneak attack damage.

We even managed to venture through to level 8. But we quickly found that we had to continually jump in and out between this and level 7. Bit of a pain as the modules are so large and takes time to load.

I even took Carind off to the Dwarven Camp to offload some of the equipment I had been carrying. Back into the camp, I find the dwarves angry at me.

Quaffing a potion of invisibility quickly solved that problem. I was even able to dump all the gear and pick up about 2 million GP before grabbing a few bits of new gear and heading back to the party.

The Drow on level 7 are fun. Especially since we found this bastard sword that has a chance to instantly slay evil beings. The effect of it when Rickety was slashing and then an instant death was awesome.
