Default Blast from the past...

Does anyone in TOG play (or used to) any of the Myth series? I loved the 1st one, Myth: The Fallen Lords, and played a few games on Bungie net while it was hosting.

Wondered if anyone got Soulblighter and/or the third one, and if so were you interested on a head to head at it? (unless you are a Legend, in which case you'd be wasting your time on a scrub like me).

I'd consider investing in II or III if there were some TOG players out there...

Never really played it, but I remember the first one coming out which was a bit a graphical revolution, that's gotta be 6 years or more now.

Didn't even think there were sequels nowadays.

So that would be a no, sorry

Yes, I have the original and thought it was great!. Very difficult though and I don't think I made it past the third mission!! I think it actually has coop play which I have briefly tried and was also quite fun.

Let me know if you are interested and we could give it a go. Hopefully it will still actually work ...

Excellent, I'll dig out the disc and see if it still installs - I'll get back to you when I do!

I just looked at your avatar there GD and realized what it was. Shouldn't you be called "SkeleDog" then?

Yeah, no need to get to picky there, Cailith.

Well, I have a number of options for my Avatar, that was just close to hand. That's actually a scan of the front of t-shirt I got from a surf bar in Newport Beach, California, when I was working out there.

I could always get some picture of a samurai and see how many people make the real GD connection...

...but I think I'm going to do a screenie of the Hell Hound familiar from NWN and use that instead

When's the bike Avatar going to appear?

Get a hound of the baskervilles avatar GD. Now that must have been the best "GhostDog" around.

Providing you can find it.

Default Myth lives!

I realize this is an old thread, but am posting in the hope that I may revive it...Lately found that I missed Myth, and in the process of looking for a replacement, I discovered that the original Myth has been lovingly kept alive and kicking by a group of very dedicated developers working for free. There's even a game server. (more info here: Project Magma: What is Myth?)

So I loaded it onto my MacBook running Leopard, and it runs beautifully. Now I'd love to find some people my age to come play! If you're up for it, send me a message.
