Since it looks like I will be taking over from RedMan as the Division Captain for the RPG side of things, I would like to get a few more forums added for some stuff, to get the RPG side of TOG a bit more active...

Forum 1: Dungeon Siege
.............. For the game obviously.

Forum 2: Designers Shop
.............. To share modules, and items made for NWN etc.

Forum 3: The Trading Post
.............. The place where players can trade, swap and sell special equipment they have.

Forum 4: PnP RPG Games
.............. Pen and Paper gaming, board games etc...

Forum 5: Server Sessions (PRIVATE)
.............. For server and game information that's private etc...

Make it so...

I like the designers forum idea. I've made a start on a few myself but seem to be lacking in time to ever get them finished ...

The other thing for it too, is that you can make unique items in NWN and export them for others to use. So you can make an item, export it, zip it up and have it on a server for people to download for themselves to place in modules or just copy them selves for a character they want etc...

Heck you could even sell them if you wanted, and trade items etc...

The designers shop I will also be using to do custom portraits etc...

I have a lot of stuff that can be used, and will be taking requests for them as well...

Dungeon Siege, do we have players to warrant a forum?

Designers shop: Warbear apart from yourself is anybody else doing any design stuff? I love your work but if you would be the only one realistically with enough commitment and dedication to make portraits and all I don't think it warrants a seperate forum.
If you can get more and more members over time getting stuck into this, sure!

The Trading Post: Do we need a "seperate" forum to do this?

PEN and PAPER????? What the hell is pen and paper.

Server Sessions Private: Use Calendar please!
If you want a basic private forum like the divisions have, that's fine!
Let me know what title u want me to give it.

You have got my full support Warbear in building out the RPG division. At the same time I don't want an excessive amount of forums all over the place.
In theory it seems great to have a lot of specifics of the game neatly seperated but it actually works counter-productive and becomes too much for people to follow and threads always go off topic killing negating the "well intended" seperation.

BTW, my feedback is not to be taken as a final decision on this. I welcome the feedback of all RPG players as to how many of these forums you would see as usefull.

So folks, give it to me!!!!

Warbear, since Father just slammed the door in your face

I think what we could do is probably put some sort of prefix in the post subject. Somethign like "DESIGN: I'm workign on a new module", etc.

This way we could see if there is a large number of specific posts to warrant a new forum?

Pen and Paper would cover the games like Talisman (board games) Car Wars etc - as in people actually getting together face to face to play games...

And cool idea rickety, works for me. There was some interest in the design area, but rickety's idea is good and workable.

Sounds good...

ANd yes please to a private forum, call it NWN Secret Guild Hall or something esoteric and mystical or skullduggery like... :P
