Anyone watching the progress of this game?

Saw it awhile ago. Is going through the betas now. This apprently is a picture of the world map

The blue area is a region which you have another map of, each of the dots is a star system.

All players are on the one server.

Isn't a walk around game, is more an online elite type game with trading, mining, pirating etc

If only I was retired.... its tempting but I don't like these pay by month games... but if it hits the right buttons, I just might look at it.

I played for a bit in the open beta. There's a lot of depth to this game so I think RPGers and real time strategy fans will enjoy it. Its very complex with a steep learning curve. I'm sure I just scratched the surface, because they've created a massive world with EVE. Graphics = stunning. I found it to start off at a somewhat slow pace with a heavy focus on character development. I'm VERY tempted to play now that its in retail, but probably won't just because it will require a large time investment.

My thoughts anyway.
