Can whoever played on Sat let me know what module you played and how it went?

Our game was, well boring. And I doubt we'll be playing the rest of the series. The guy who wrote it tried for HCR style of play and setup, but then added encounters as if it was a normal game. So you couldn't rest, and nobody died, you just went unconcience. The problem being that with 3 playing it, and almost no resting allowed, encounters were usually very bloody, and once resulted in all of us dieing.

Saving the game wasn't working. And then there was the, NO XP till the end of the module. So nobody could advance as you went. No XP for kills, only for completing the module.

Also, we were done in less than an hour.

Mousie connected through dial-up, and had no problems with 3 of us playing, Janus, Mousie and me. Though I am on the lan with the server, and I think that helps. I would like one more person next friday please. And if that goes well, then one more after that and see how the game and server handles it.

I will be pinching a PC from work to use as the server too, my Wife's PC died, and she is getting the current server I have. Sucks.

Yup. That just about sums up the Friday night experience.

I'll have a browse around - probably tonight - and see if I can come up with some module suggestions.

I'm out this coming Friday night, I afraid. I have a mate down from Brisbane and we're catching up over a meal and some drinks.

Might be around on Saturday night though.
