VIETCONG ANYONE???
Hey,
I've been in the BF wilderness for a while.... Has anyone played V.C. lately? I've been cooking it for the past week. It's pretty awesome.... Dunno how many times I've been scared outta my wits coz a V.C. jumps outta the jungle and puts holes into me.... Any chance a TOG Vietcong group may start up? I'll be the first one to put my hand up! CroC

As the game is made by the makers of Mafia I have little doubt that it would be an excellent immersive single player game.
It also gets good reviews for its SP component. But the MP does not bring much new apparently. Biggest complaint seems to be the small scale of the MP maps despite having large outdoor maps in the SP component. Biggest problem with this one is a very low local succes rate which translates into "no servers". There might be a few around, not sure but since GA isn't running one I have my doubts about its success and thus its success as a division in TOG, at least within Australia. And as always you can't play em all. But if you want to organise something by all means go for it. Coz I certainly don't wanna be a party pooper here. I think there might be a few that have the game, doesn't it have a co-op mode as well?

Hi all, im new here but old to gaming.
I really like VC, i play it most nights. For me it is the next step on from MOH:AA style of game play. I love using iron sights. I play all my games under to nick of Deljron so say hello if u see me  |

yeah oz servers. I play on internode servers mostly these days(nights) though i once played on GA servers lots, mainly RTCW which i played lots and lots of.
The games i play online are BF1942, MOH:AA, VC. though im now Downloading AArmy to try on ur recommendation. |

As always the problem is you can't play em all, but AA is probably on of the best FPS games I have played.
I tried the VC demo, it's probably a good SP game, but MP the reviews were mixed. Same team that did Mafia which was an excellent SP game!

Vietcong is excellent - I must admit it has sort of made me push aside bf1942 for a little while
 There are a few servers here in oz that I get good pings to as well - maybe gameareana will add one so it doesn;t count to me 3gb limit but it doesn't use huge amonts anyway. So croc if you can get some more interested players and get a team - I'll be in it.Cheers Morte' |
