There is a scan knocking around on the net from the official Xbox 360 magazine review, which gave it 10/10. Official console mags usually aren't the best source of unbiased reviews but I'm inclined to think it's pretty much on the money with PCG UK giving it 95% too, they do have unbiased reviews and are pretty reliable (apart from that one time with their Deus ex 2 review).
It looks like there is going to be an 360 demo according to this page The Rapture Gazette - The Bioshock blog , lets hope we get a PC demo too.

I've only got a couple of reservations about the game, one is the online activation, I just hope they don't still expect me to have the disc in all the time as well. The other is that they are adding some extra content exclusive to the Xbox version

Where did you read about the extra content for the 360 version?

It was on the page that I linked to in my above post, just click back on the calender to the July news archive. They have since added an update to clarify that there will be no exclusive content, the downloadable extra plasmids & tonics will be for both platforms after all

Also, it looks like there is going to be a PC Demo after all, but not until the game is already out.

They also released a new trailer:- Gametrailers.com - BioShock: Reviews, Trailers, and Interviews
So, anyone downloaded the Xbox demo yet? Anyone else slightly annoyed at the PC demo being release later this month .

Only slightly mate, on the priciple of the thing.

Usually I'd be more put out......but to be honest I am probably not going to play the demo.....got the game pre-ordered and I don't want to "spoil" anything!

Not long to go now........

Same here! I only really play demo's of games I'm really not sure about. For games I know I want I don't want to play it until the full game arrives. I've pre-ordered Bioshock on the 360 and don't even want to see anymore teaser trailers

Alright- I'm not sure how often games get ad time around the world on TV, but in the US it's pretty rare. Last night I saw a minute-long ad for Bioshock. It had the generic 40's music playing in the background while the freaky red-eyed girl stalks out of the darkness and the gigantical big daddy decides to play racketball with the camera; explosions, water effects, weapons demos, etc. All in all it looked a lot like all the clips I've seen online cut up and spliced together. Has anyone else seen this thing on TV?

Well the demo gets a massive thumbs up from me! Awesome demo for what is most assuredly going to be an awesome game.

The shooter element is nicely done (which was my biggest fear with the game), the graphics are sumptuously designed, the music fantastically haunting, quality enemy AI, wonderful atmosphere... the whole thing rocks.

One especially breathtaking moment is hearing Ryan say "I created... Rapture" (or whatever he says) and suddenly you are given this wonderful sweeping view of the city. Stunningly cinematic moment despite never once feeling artificially ejected from my role in the game.

I'm actually tempted to buy both the PC and 360 copy of this game. My PC has the grunt to make this game sing and of course the control setup is better for shooters but my 360 is hooked up to this...

The atmosphere of playing the demo on this monster is so much better than anything my PC monitor is capable of.

I think I'll happily experience this more than once so while still a crazy idea it isn't completely nuts.
