Has anyone else seen this thing on TV?
In the UK ads on TV for games used to be very rare but in recent months there have been a lot more. Not seen any ads for Bioshock yet but Gears of War was shown a lot with the "Mad World" song running in the background. Very atmospheric ad.

I think I'll happily experience this more than once so while still a crazy idea it isn't completely nuts.
I have my 360 hooked up in a similar setup. Mine's attached to my 42" Samsung Plasma. Nothing quite like games in HD Saying that I still tend to play my PC more lol.

Because I'm married is the easy answer lol. It maybe my TV and has a female exclusion zone. She's not allowed within 3 feet of the screen!! Despite that she has control of the thing Keeps her quiet so I can escape to the computer room!

Not long to go now........

Same here really, not having a PC demo won't cause me to cancel my pre-order or anything, its just that I don't like this trend of releasing PC game demo's after the game is actually out (like what seems to be happening here). My PC is less than a month old but there are a lot of people out there who are probably wondering if this game will run on their older setup.

Two main reasons. :P

The first is that I play my games on a nice comfy couch that is not all that well suited to keyboard/mouse gaming.

Most importantly my monitor will only go as high as a 720p connection over a VGA connection. Screwy thing is that the US and Japanese versions of that TV will play VGA content at 1080p (1080p such a beautiful thing... esp with Bluray or HD DVD) but not the PAL versions. Obviously my TV is PAL.

Still point 1 is a very big point for me. PC gaming is done at a desk in my eyes, it is not appropriate loungeroom fodder.

I'll be playing it on PC, what with DX10, higher texture resolution (things will look sharper) and an unlocked frame rate.

I've got the PC CE on pre-order. This was a game that I was always going to get on PC.

I'm just thinking of grabbing a little extra.

So ElPresidente, when are we going to get a big juicy 10 page review in the mag?

May as well chuck the Demo (when its out) on the cover disc too.

Pcpp fanboy....

Just noticed, Bioshock is now available for preorder on steam. I'm pre-loading it now.

Yep! If you don't mind not having a box, US$50 (AU$63) is significantly cheaper. I've heard it's about £10 cheaper than retail for you UK folk too ...
