Has anyone given this a shot? I looks somewhat like a fantasy version of a Total War game with more RPG elements, which in my books could make it almost perfect!

But I've been buying so many games lately I don't want to ask my accountant (don't laugh, I'm sure some of you know what I mean!!) if I'm allowed to get another unless I know it really is all that and a bag of potato chips. Mmmmm potato chips...

Erm. Anyway! Has anyone tried this? Any opinions out there?

Like You, I'm looking at getting this, but reading on the forums it seems to have a few Bugs in it ATM, So I'll be holding off until they release another patch

yeah, I was looking at this too, but only 1 review available on metacritic so far....

Patch 1.2 was released yesterday ( I think that's 2 patches in 4 days). So they are obviously keen to support this game
About 20 fixes all up in this patch

Been checking it out myself and it seems like it will be a great game..there's a GameStar rating on the Steam store page of 92, if that counts for anything..Looks like a game that will last. Wonder if it will go on special tommorow if i pay full price tonight.. better wait a little while and see.

I'm holding out Rasta....at least till the reviews are in on the New patch.....BTW Rasta have You seen the Elite Units of America DLC for ETW.....Now You and Roo can play as Welshman as the Royal Welch Fusiliers
