diablo 2 group interest

Hey guys just the other day i found my diablo battlechest and found myself playing a few hours later anyways i'm already addicted to it So any of you toggers interested in perhaps getting a weekly group perhaps play twice a week and such .

I'll admit i'm new to playing D2 multiplayer so i'm not aware of the gaming ladders and various multiplay feature but anyways i love the game and like to to get a tog group started

I got back in to D2 big time about a year an a half ago. Got up to a level 80something Sorc before interest waned again.

We chose to avoid Battlenet because of it's pretty average connectivity. We just LANed it over a Hamachi connection which did the trick just fine.

I reckon my rubber arm could be bent into a couple of sessions a week...

lol i love the way you mentioned rubber arm , already i don't know much about hosteing and don't know if an extra comp is needed cause atm i don't have one but anyways it's a start .

I'm unsure how many we can have in our group or what the limit is but my hope is we can get enough interest to field a full group

Thanks for your interest Justin , I' like to wait till after the weekend to see just how much interest we can get and after as which start a post on a few diablo forums and try to generate more interest

great thanks mortimike basically the process will be .

1. Keep interest thread till feburary 7th
2. Discussion on game modes , Ladder Non ladder hardcore or regular , expansion or non expansion.
3. Secure a vent server or request a a vent channle on the official tog vent .
4. Discussion on Scheduled game nights .


Anyways that's the immediate set of goals to get this lifted , My hope is in the long term to get a division should we get enough interest where we can brainstorm and accomdate all new D2 toggers

Ohhh it's gotta be expansion! Can't leave out all those cool runewords!

Well it doesn't gotta, but would be a shame. :P I'd still be in regardless of course, and I'm still happy to play on Battlenet if it's easier for everyone.

Aye i hear ya justin i have no problems going with the expansion but we have to accomdate those who don't have LoD but don'yu worry bro one step at a time , And by the way guys thanks for the interest .

Also feel free advertsie TOG just bear in midn they have to be 25 years or older and direct them to the barracks

I just want to complete the game before D3. I can't seem to find Diablo2 for sale, and to be honest... $20 from Blizzard shop is a bit steep for an 8year old game isn't it?
