So many of the classes look interesting, I just know I'm going to end up splitting my time between a dozen different characters.

are there any pure bow "hunter" class?

I don't think a hunter type class has been announced so far. Engineers have guns, bombs and such. However, they haven't announced which classes Elfs will be able to choose from, I wouldn't be surprised to see a more traditional hunter among them.

I suspect Zoyd is right. The Elves will have a hunter class of some sort. I wish they'd included Woof Elves though as I always wanted to play a Wardancer...
