In DAoC Mythic kept a pretty strict policy on not allowing an account to have Both Good and Evil characters on the same server so I expect at least the same with Warhammer. Which would imply a TOG have two incarnations. One on a server nominated for Destruction and another on a server nominated for Order.

I certainly see myself having a Chaos CHosen as my Destruction character and a Dwarven Engineer, probably am Empire Priest as Order characters.

Greenskin! Greenskin! Greeeeeeenskiiiiiin!!!!

Sorry, just the way I'm wired

One of the difficulties is that, even on the same server, the war is divided into three different conflicts: dark/light elves, greenskin/dwarf, and chaos/human. While it seems players will be able to move freely between regions, we may find the guilds split further by geographical area. Hopefully there'll be enough TOG population in the game to at least partially offset this. A suggested starting race on each side may help, decided by popular vote.

This would be my choices: (And yes, I think it's quite probable we'll not be allowed to have chars of the opposite side on the same server. So one TOG-Order server, and one TOG-Chaos server seems like a good idea.)

Order - Dwarven Runepriest and Empire Witchhunter
Chaos - Goblin Squighearder or Shammy and Orc Choppa

Re: USA/Euro/Aus divisions - Black Ice your post was talking about RVR PVP server rulesets but are there any rumours as to location servers?

Everyone I talk to from Vanguard fans to rabid WoW players to guys who have given up on MMOs all together are excited for WAR. They might split the servers up, but if they do I think we have enough interest in TOG to populate them.

On a personal note, its great to see Black Ice and Basie intersted in WAR. I know Mari and I will be thrilled to play with you guys again.

Edit: Oh and.. GREENSKIN!!!!!

There is no doubt no matter how they do it we will have an Order and Dest guilds. Same server or separate servers, it don't matter. It just makes sense to pick a west coast server for everyone.

I played an Orc Choppa and Chosen in beta as my favorites so far. I have given others a try but did not take a liking to the others as I did to those two.

Sorry Rak. That was all I could find on a quick search. Since I am actually in the beta, I am trying very hard to keep the NDA in mind, and won't comment much on what if's.
I never read all of the beta forums so it might have been discussed and I didn't see it (the previous stages beta's forums have been cleared). All of the threads I did read were on gameplay and bugs. I don't believe they solicited opinions on server breakdowns for release. That leads me to believe they have either not made their mind up about it yet, or else they have and it doesn't require discussion.

What I was trying to point out with my comments, is as a guild, we can put forward ideas on how we would like to handle the different options they give us when announced.

Oh, and as for my interest in Warhammer. Pictures
So far I have liked my Squig Herder in the beta, but Corp's Choppa was pretty impressive
I still want to play my Skaven though
