Microsoft's E3 Showcase
I'm watching G4's coverage of Microsoft's E3 Showcase. In the fall we'll be getting a MAJOR new interface upgrade that looks really sweet. They are adding a whole new social networking component using Wii-like avatars only VASTLY more customizable. (OMG! PORTAL 2!!! Sorry...they just announced it) You can create custom chat groups with them and even join together and play games in an all new community game network. (where you can win real prizes)
OH! They formed a partnership with Netflix...SWEEEET! Sorry...stream of consciousness posts is what you get from me when I'm watching a live feed.... Anyway...going to submit this before I get sidetracked. Check out the coverage on G4's site for more details and screenshots. I assume they will have them there...

Ok, other random updates:
Portal: Still Alive (fall) Guitar Hero: World Tour - Will have simultaneous release of Metallica's new album (will Guitar Hero 3 will get it then World Tour when its released) Rock Band 2 - Will let use access not only all downloaded content you grabbed for the original but you'll also be able to snag all the songs from the first disk and read it in to be used in RB2 System update this fall Fallout 3 - Portable nuclear bomb catapult = win NBC and Universal Studios content to be available on Marketplace Gears of War 2 = SWEEEET Custom friends group mentioned in first post can watch Netflix/multimedia content "together" New Scene It coming this holiday season You're In The Movies - Game makes use of included camera and asks you to act out minigames. At the end, the game takes the footage from the minigames and creates a movie starring you and your friends. Movies can be saved, edited and uploaded. Lips - Karaoke game that will let you use music from your iPod/Zune in the game Square/Enix to release FINAL FANTASY 13 for the 360...no longer exclusive to Sony. (that was one of the big showstopper announcements)

Final Fanasy 3, that will be a blow for Sony, saying that PS3 are starting to catch up. Probably with Blueray winning format war. Also the 360 exclusives going to PC soon after, thats pi**ing a lot of people off.
Hope GoW2 is a bit longer than first one. Any mention when Mass Effect2 is coming out?

Nope, nothing on ME2...not sure if/when Bioware will be announcing anything. I'll keep an eye out though because I want that one too.
