ToG Forza 2 Championship

Hey all,

I have been toying with the idea of having a one make Forza Championship for a few months now, i have been working on some cars so everyone gets the same car. Then all you are allowed to change is the suspension setup and gearing (and paintjob of course).

I was thinking of making it one race a week, with enough laps to make it last between 30 - 60 mins depending on what people prefered. With atleast 1 pitstop thrown in to make it fun.

So if interested please post what nights are good for you, how many rounds you would like and your favourite tracks if you have any so i can include them.

Interesting idea mate.

What cars were you thinking about? Would it be a stock standard car (or class of car) you buy in the game, or would we need to use a car you created?

I could spare one night a week (umm lets see ... R6V2, CoD4 and BF Bad company on XBOX 360. Burnout Paradise on the PS3. Thanatoz keeps demanding I play Counter Strike on PC ... yeah I think there is a spare night in there somewhere).

Would you set a up a leader board?

E.g. Set up a number of weeks for the championship, out line what track will be used each week (so people can practice) and decide what 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc are worth in points.

This could be very interesting not to mention fun.

I will be making all the cars so they are the same, they wont be standard but they wont be 700HP beast either. I have 4 Nissan 350 Z made so far and will make how ever many more are needed if people want in.

I will be making a leaderboard and will post what tracks on what nights so people can practice and tune there cars. Once we have enough interest i will work out what points for 1st 2nd 3rd etc.

I am also working on a 1 off ToG designed car for the winner of the championship, i will lock the design so there will never be a copy and it will be setup the same as the race cars so the person can use it for season 2 if this takes off.

Friends request sent twodogs. Doesnt matter if your not good its more for fun. I will finish working on the cars this week and come up with a list of tracks and post it this week.

I'll jump in too. Havent picked up Forza for a while now so might be a little rusty but sounds like fun.
Keeping a leader board with best times and points tally would be great for a bit of friendly competition.
