Research study: Father-son gametesters needed
I'm working on a project supported by the non-profit Committee for Children. This project is not affiliated with The Older Gamers. Contact me through the links at the end with any questions.
Are you a gamer with sons age 11-16? We need your help designing a RPG for parents and sons to play together.
We are a team of psychologists and game designers working with the non-profit Committee for Children (Committee for Children > Home) to find ways for parents and sons to work on socioemotional puzzles in commercial video games.
We need parent-son teams willing to spend about an hour testing games and chatting with us about your experiences. You can participate from your home—all you need is a PC with an Internet connection, Firefox or Internet Explorer, and Skype or Google Hangouts installed.
We’re ready when you are. We’ll be scheduling testing sessions throughout October, but please let us know if you’re interested in playing this week.
Interested? Questions? Sign up at Cooperative Gaming Project or contact Kristen at firstname.lastname@example.org; please include your names and your child's age in your message.
Expires: Oct 18, 2015.

Just to be sure, I check this out. I didn't sign up but using google and whois lookup, this is a legitimate project and the people leading it have been creating games for 20+ years.
Just an FYI for everyone out there who are curious!
