With this new AP2 (advance pack 2) I was shocked to see the price $129 US for the premium and $100 US for the standard. This to me is a reach for gross over inflation of price hoarding. Talk about only making this pack for those who earn mega money or have parents who will spend anything to keep their kids from crying, This has really disappointed me with MH.

MH has never been a cheap game. Think about it, every STASH tab is $5. Cheaper if you get a character or crafting specific one (which limits their use). Costumes are around $8-12.50 each. A character about the same.
Boosts approx 50c each, but only run for 1-3 hours, and often barely make a difference to your drops.
A single character bundle on Steam is $20 (depending on the character, and there are not many choices that way). I bought the Loki bundle because steam had it 50% off. I got the character, its stash, and a 2nd costume for $10 . So a pretty good discount, but even then pretty pricey.

I didn't buy the original Advance Pack. It was around $200 from what I recall, and the biggest issue I have is how far in the future you are buying. You will get a few things pretty quickly, but you won't get your last purchases for a Year. You are not buying everything they will release in that year, so don't mistake it for a years worth of content purchased.

I have not ruled it out as a purchase, but I am on the probably not side of the decision, not the probably side.
My issue is, will I still be playing in a years time, when my purchased items become available?
There are only a few games I have bought a years subscription for. World of Tanks being one. A game I have not played in around 3-4 months, and probably have >6 months of sub still running. That was a slightly unusual case in that I won those funds via ingame play and its not transferable anyway.
I bought a six month subscription to The Eldar Scrolls Online. Only to stop playing it 3 months in.

If I could get the full content in the AP2 right now, then the price would not turn me off it, the full price cost of getting each item at release is much greater then the $125 they are asking.
The duration you are signing up for on the other hand, is the deciding factor in my decision.

I see your point mate as I play this game everyday, but still can and will not ever be able to afford prices like that. I also know that they have to make their money income some how for the short fall of the free game.
