Source Wars: Year Three
by Kreed

The third annual Source War tournament has begun amongst the three divisions of Counter Strike: Source (CSS), Day of Defeat: Source (DODS), and Team Fortress 2 (TF2). All three games use the Half Life 2 engine, and is played between many TOGGERS who participate in all three divisions as regulars. Source Wars originally started when Naverone, then DODS Division Captain, got the idea to challenge the CSS Division - to play each other in their own game, with the TF2 game being the tie breaker.

This year’s format is similar, with everyone playing each other’s game. A point system was created so that the top two divisions play a championship final in the game that doesn’t belong to either finalist. The winner being Champions for 2011!

Check out the video and stop by the divisions to learn more about Source Wars and a little about the games. Who knows, you may want to join in on the fun.

Start Date: April 9 2011
End Date: May 19, 2011

Nice video :)

Have really loved the banter and laughs between divisions .. feels like my immediate ‘tog family’ has grown three times the size, and the adrenalin rush of almost beating DOD at their own game .... awesome
