rFactor Division Information
The rFactor division is a bunch of enthusiastic sim racers who are tired of racing in the “bumper cars” of public server racing. We cater for all skill levels from beginner to alien.
Thursday Fun Cup series:
Thursday night we run our Fun Cup series. This is our entry level racing and is usually made up a four weekly rounds consisting of 3 x 15 minute races. Setups are fixed except for steering, brake pressure and brake bias. This is usually the default setting although sometimes a server setup is installed that all cars receive on entering the server. This puts all drivers on a level playing field and allows new drivers to concentrate on driving and racecraft without having to worry about setups.
Tuesday Series:
The Tuesday series is our more serious racing. These series range from six to twelve rounds and consist of sixty minute races, no driver aids other than auto clutch, full setups, full flags (incl full course yellows) and custom skin packs. Results/Championship tables are posted for both the Tuesday and Thursday series. There is also a Protest Adjudication Team that deals with race protests for the Tuesday series. New drivers need to compete in four fun events to eligible to enter a Tuesday series.
Sunday nights are usually used to test upcoming series, run training nights, or sometimes we run a fortnightly fun series. Mostly, we just like to race clean and have fun.
