The Older Gamers is a community website and is provided as a fully free service to members and visitors alike.
TOG’s surivival is dependant on income received from members signing up to a supporter plans and advertising.
Some facts about the current TOG website infrastructure:
- Over 300 hours of design outsourced to a professional designer.
- Fully supported by commercially licensed software .
- Ongoing investment in designs are being made as TOG continously grows and evolves.
The TOG website runs on 2 dedicated servers which are a requirement so we can provide you a responsive browsing experience .
TOG is and will always remain free but we cannot deny the reality of the financial requirements as we are very much reliant on a steady financial return in order to keep TOG operational.
We therefore want to provide some benefits to paying members as a way to thank them for their support.
The current website offers financial supporters of TOG different choices of benefits to suit every budget.

For all payments made using alternate payment methods, a trust system will be used where your account will be placed into the chosen plan for a 3 month period at a time.
The onus will be up to you to keep us appraised of your payment status at these intervals upon which your plan will be extended with 3 months again.
