Trouble for me is, without a playable demo it is very difficult to know if my aging computer setup will be able to play it. Its a tricky business.
Yep. I still play Nethack and Ancient Domains of Mystery (ADoM) every month or so. Been playing these for at least 20 years now, maybe longer.

Damn flawed list. Best games ever on DOS are Nethack and Ancient Domains of Mystery, and neither rate a mention. :(
