Hey guys, Stange title for an application to a clan ay? Heeheh but i'm sure some of you remember what G.E.O.S was. My name is Myekal and I'm 31. I play under the handle of Myekie and I'm currently a [GameOp] for Jedi series of games on the Telstra Game Network (GA) don't hold that against me ehhehe. I love ut24k ons and COD and jedi saber games. I'm trying to get into bf1942 as its just come onto the mac (Yes I game on a Mac) but there are some problems with first release. My first computer was a Vic 20 with 4k of ram What a beast!!! I moved up to the commodore64 and then from that to the mighty AMIGA. I have tried windows machines over the years but I have always loved Apple and have been using it as my main machine since 1992. It's tough as a mac gamer lol but its getting better. I really love games and I can't believe how far gaming has come. I used to love space invaders and Pac Man. I use Mame quite abit for "Retro" games. Atari has a lot to answer for in my life thats for sure. I work as a graphic designer and photographer but I'm currently back at Uni studying Multimedia. Its a brand new medium that we are just starting to understand and it excites me greatly (Not in a sexual way often). Its hard to be a student at my age lol DAMN KIDS!!! but its very challenging. I look to games as a way to interact with like minded people who enjoy the challenge and friendship that can and often happens within gaming communitys. I currently lead the .oldskool' clan for jedi gaming. It takes very little of my gaming time these days but if some of you tog guys start to swing the saber I would look at my position in that clan if it was a problem.. Welcome Myekie. Did I hear right a MAC user. :lol: Cod is very strong at the moment and the BF guys will be along soon to try & steal you way. The UT2k4 have a strong presence but who can look past CoD. BTW How have you found the MAC v Windows systems overall. An admin will be along shortly to togerize you once they have had their med's and bingo finishes.

Hey thanks for the warm welcome... I'm blown away!!! Such a quick and friendly response I'm totally biased here heheh. I think the mac os is far superior than windows xp or other varietys of it. I agree as a pure gaming platform the pc is the go. But as a designer I find the mac better at running the design apps specially when I have 4 or 5 of them open most of the time. Plus as and oldskool geek I love what the mac represents. I love COD even though I'm a total noob at it lol. I try hard and I will get better at it the more I play it. I'm getting a new video card for my g5 which should help heaps. Ut24k is a good game and I used to play that heaps. I'm just getting back into it. Bf1942 looks very scary.
