OK, first the business details: :)
I have read the FAQ, Guidlines, Stickies and legal stuff...
I live in Portland, Oregon, Pacific Standard Time (Actually I live Washington just over the river/state border but Portlands a little easier to spot on a map)
As I am a full time student with one term to go I am on at all times of day... Only 2 classes left this term, YAY!)
I attempted to put a referal, but couldn't figure out what name they used for their accounts. However Dewpan, Brindikal, Taliesin and Braus are some of the names the evil pair that got me started use on Proudmoore.

I am using Nyteshaed as my primary but I am AKA Gawren and playing on the "evil" alliance side with a group of TOG members as Noireie.

Games I play: Yes I did start playing games on an Atari 2600 and do have an emmulator.... However, more usefully I currently play Battlefield(S) 1942, Desert Combat, 2, and just recently 2142, which isn't to say I am any good. My wife and I still occasionally play Startcraft (Broodwars) and did play Guildwars, and of cource WoW on Proudmoore. Note: She will likely apply as well, but she likes to consider all things very very carefully :) particularly any group membership.

A little bio: I have lived my entire life in the state of Oregon around Portland with a brief exception for a "college" town called Eugene and a few months working for Intel in the U.K. My first online organised game experience was Quake in which I joined and eventually ran for awhile a clan called C&M (Chaos and Mayhem) which was a wonderful experience. The clan was much like TOG in that it was only for people more interested in playing togethor and having fun. To be sure we practiced and did our best to be competitive, but we had a strict policy of recruiting based on sportsmanship and maturity, rather that skill level. Initially we didn't have an age limit but one came into it later for reasons I am sure the reader can understand.

After my wife had some serious medical problems while going to school in Eugene I was forced to drop out, but eventually she graduated and we moved back to Portland. There I worked for Intel for several years before the "Dot Com Crash" doing streaming video and SQA. After a year of unemmployment I decided to get off my tush and go back to school and now I am 1 term from graduation.

Aside from all that, I am a heavy gamer to be perfectly honest, but I also deeply enjoy camping, fishing, cooking, flying sport kites (the wife and I are working on our tandem flying), reading, and mideival society. The mideival society is in fact where I know many of the people who are already in TOG from and where I met my wife.... a wonderful story I will tell some other time :D

I think that should about cover it, so ..... Thank you for your time and I look forward to seeing everyone online!

    Sincerely,
    Nyteshaed

P.S. Oh and it might be useful to known:
    Nyteshaed - Troll - Rogue - 22nd - Barrens - Primary
    Gawren - Tauren - Warrior - 21st - Barrens
(My lady shamman's personal meat shield :p)
    Noireie - Nightelf - Hunter - 13th - Darnassus
    (Sunday Night PST Only)

    Can't shut up! =)

I was reading some other peoples stuff and thought of something that might be of some limited interest to others :)

My wife and I are addicted to games.... card games, board games, RPG's, you name it.... gonna have to buy another bookshelf in fact... the first ones flowing out on to the floor!
