From everything I've seen and heard about this game it seems amazing, I would guess maybe companies are waiting to see how their release goes and how Tera does here beforing jumping on it?? Definitely on my list of games to play down the road.

Good question. They're too different games though, only ArcheAge interests me so I dunno. IMHO, ArcheAge is the best looking sandbox MMO titles I've seen since...well maybe ever. I'm stunned at how many systems they have in the game.

They are promising a lot here, and if they pull it all off it will be an incredible game.

Will be keeping my eye on this.

I don't know if you guys are still following this game but the guys at The Yogscast got in during the latest Beta and fiddled around.Honestly, most of the time they get on my nerves but watching some of the features of the game helped me endure them.If you want to see the housing stuff jump to video 4 and 5 :p.

I'm intrigued, looking at the MMO landscape for the next couple of years there really isn't much to get excited about sadly. I'll try it.

I'm still looking for an MMO that captures that original feeling I got when I played EverQuest...........the sense of adventure, accomplishment and fear......I keep hoping one of these MMOs does that again, sadly I think its a thing of the past.

The only mmorpg i experienced those kind of emotions was Richard Garriot's Tabula Rasa.

    Too bad Ncsoft killed it.

I loved Tabula Rasa, sadly, it was another MMO that needed another year in the oven.

BTW, Pinkeh - I looked at your Flickr page, beautiful photos, well done.

Can anybody hazzard a guest on when the game will go live in north america?

It will most likely be around the same time as elder scrolls go live.

I will be torn between 2 mmos this and elder scrolls.

Archeage for me has the upper hand in terms of artwork and characters, how ever korean pvp doesn't translate well on western internet, especially if you are playing in australia.

The elder scrolls has this mega server which is going to be awesome, the pvp will be seamless they hve created there own engine for it however elder scrolls is going to be available on consoles, to me this means a dumbing down of the game.

If one is free to play and the other isn't that maybe be the deal breaker for me.

I just listened to a podcast on GW2junkies, they were talking to 2 of the heads of 2 major WvW guilds, VOTF and LOTD, they mentioned that basically at this point they're just waiting for Archeage to come out, TESO as well, but mainly Archeage.

VOTF have apparently been involved in beta testing and he said that its basically the next generation game that people have been waiting for. From what they said about it I'm a lot more excited for it.
