I'm actually playing the russian version right now. Of course using the translation pack for english. It is very fun. definitely a game for teamwork for sure. I am just killing time until it's released in NA. If anyone is interested in playing, let me know.

I put this game in my favourites years ago, so I could hardly believe it when the website finally came to life. O.O

While waiting for it, I bought a new comp, but it took so long that when the game is eventually launched in NA, I'll probably need a new comp to play it! :(

I can't believe how much time I'm spending on forums. :?

And you're partly to blame Valdur!!

The ArcheAge site is really taking off in terms of player enthusiasm, players joining the forum etc.

I can hardly wait too & thanks for that heads up! :)

For a great looking game the system requirements aren't all that high, which is nice! Comparable to GW2.

@ Valdur: “Bless and Black Desert might steal the thunder if they keep removing the sandbox part of this game.”
I've made a separate thread, with 2 reviews for BLESS, if anyone else is also interested in that game. Black Desert is another game that I've had on my radar as well! May have to make another thread... ;)

@ Tachyon: “For a great looking game the system requirements aren't all that high, which is nice! Comparable to GW2.”
Thanks for that info Tachyon! :)

@ Valdur, I hope that you get better really soon. I'm as guilty as the next person, when it comes to health issues, but more & more I'm accepting that us older gamers, have to get into the habit of spending more time pampering ourselves! especially if these games developers & publishers continue to take years & years, to get a game out for us to see, let alone play!!

Also, about the ArcheAge simulator that you mentioned, I've never tried a simulator. Like a noob, I accidentally joined an AION private server once. Although I know that a lot of players use those, I didn't feel comfortable, so when I realized, I stopped playing there.

Is a simulator more or less the same thing as a private server? I know of players trying to recreate long lost games, by using simulators. I'm not sure how I feel about them. :?

I think that they'd be okay, as long as whoever is responsible for them, doesn't try to make a profit from them, or isn't mining personal player data with them. How to know if that was happening is another matter but... are simulators legit & safe?

Bless and Black Desert are on my watch list too but I doubt they would be of any kind of immediate threat to AA because they won't hit the western market that soon at least not before 2016-2017.

As for my health,I'm getting there slowly but surely, thanks :)

    Bless is in close beta

From reading the forums Bless is already localized for the western market, so all they would need is the translation. It may be out here quicker than that.

Aion was localized and translated in 6 months

And hey I hope you get better soon,

Word is they will announce founder pack information in the next week or two, then Closed beta next month. Apparently it's really being pushed along now. All the translation including cut scenes have been completed. Pretty excited about this one.

So who wants to start an ArcheAge forum?

Apparently there is a place to list a guild on the French site.

ArcheAge-Ressource: Recensement Which you can switch to English and other languages.

So who wants to state their preference for a faction? Race?

Just the glimpse I have seen the Harani or the Nuian would be my first choices.

I'm been playing the RU version on server Anhk or something like that. I've rolled nuian and harani but nuian is definitely better for pvp. If anyone wants to try, let me know and ill help you get setup for the ru version to try.

I was actually not very interested in this game at all until I watched a few people stream it on Twitch recently (CohhCarnage, Bikeman, and Ellohime). Now I'm fairly well sold when the English version comes out now =D
