I don't think I'm the only one in this situation. There were some games I grew up with that were really really bad, but dammit I still wanted to play the sh*t out of them :w

    5 of them:
    1. Ghostbusters (NES)
    2. Top Gun (NES)
    3. Toxic Crusaders (NES)
    4. Kung Fu Mario(the ROM-hack) (NES)
    5. Superman: The New Adventures (aka Superman 64) (N64)

Now I know there's other people out there who had similar experiences so bring back those repressed memories!

(Kinda)Offtopic: A couple of friends and I also started a review/impressions website for fun, Link removed by Buff . Maybe check it out and help us improve?

I also did a short article on the 5 games I've mentioned before:

Enough about that though, I want to hear about games that tortured your childhood!

It had to be Goosebumps: Attack of the Mutant. I still don't know what the is the general opinion of the game, but I think it wasn't really a good one. Still, I played it with joy (although I knew it kinda suck :D).

Sky Kid (NES) Once you spent $30 of allowance and lawn mowing money in 1980's money you better play it even if it stunk ;)
Some NES wrestling game, I hated it but my friends loved it, so I played it anyway

    Mad Doctor (commodore 64)
You were a character similar to Dr. Frankenstein, you had to harvest good quality body parts without the nearby town getting suspicious. Once you had assembled and brought your creation to life, you had to then organise an exhibition to show him off to the town without them rounding up pitchforks and torches.... I never did succeed at that part.

Terminator 2 on the Sega Master system. It was a terrible game but my friends loved it so I had to play.
