Oh snap i just watched this video. If its half as good as a modern version of 1941 then i will be happy.

I cant express how much i miss a decent ww1/ww2 game and i know there are a lot out there but none have ever felt as good as 1942.

    Interview with DICE Dev

Leaked info from a few days ago, which turned out to be true

Finally. A reason for me to put in time to a Battlefield again. I was beyond sick of the Modern Warfare category. Look forward to a return to the old school weapons. I feel it always made for a more balanced game.

    Another breakdown!

I didn't notice before, but the guy who kills the other guy with a shovel has crutches on his back (medic).

There's also a shot in the trailer of a guy wearing a red "T" in the trailer. According to some, that's the "T" of the 2nd Australian Tunnelling Company https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2nd_Australian_Tunnelling_Company

I'm not so sure if that is true because the Canadian tunnelling soldiers had a red T and I think the Aussies had a purple T?

Edit: people coming onto a beach from boats sounds like Gallipoli to me!

I can definitely see Airships being a Titan mode. Both sides had them but the British abandoned them pretty early in the war. They would really provide the same slow time visual destruction that Titan mode and Carrier mode had in 2142 and BF4 with a lot more flames.

This would be pretty impressive considering the fire effects shown in the reveal trailer. I am really looking forward to an older BF game. I hope they don't over do it with infantry SMG/MGs and Dynamite.

Seeing that Landser with the shovel brings back fond memories of DoD and DoDS - running around in darks rooms with my shovel swinging! lol...absolutely hilarious.

Oh man that reload time on the M1917!! I think it would have to be a 55% body shot with that rate of fire. Perhaps even a one hit kill headshot.

There won't be much "spray and pray" going on. More concentration and aiming I think. Knowing DICE though, the SMGs will be a bit spammy.
