Probably been away from gaming for so long that not a soul would remember me. I used to play with you guys daily when I was in DIC.
I remember when TOG started playing BF1942 and we had some great times.
Wondering how many TOGgers are playing BF3 in a non competitive sort of way and if you guys play console?

I'm more of a fan of the free browser game Battlefield Play4Free - anyone else play this?

Since you've started this thread, I'm going to chime in...

I was there in the beginning as well...I have returned...been a very long time...

I've even got an old screenie we all lined up and posed for...should bring back a few memories...

I'll post it up here once I can dig it out of my hard drive...

ps. Hey Ned...remember me? I'm trying to remember you...can't think which BF42 squad you were in...

    Hey CroC,

I mostly played the BF series in coop mode or at LANs.
I was never in a TOG squad for BF42 :)

    Yeah why not..! Nostalgia rocks.

It was really late when I dug it up from the depths of my spare HDD.

    This pic is from 2003...

    I feel so old...

I remember you Croc. They were the good old days. I was known as granpa then and played, or should I say tried to play, with Vipers. Remember whooping your arses in the snake wars :D

Ah, the good old days. Pity the current crop of games are not as much fun.

    Ahhh Granpa!

What a blast from the past!

    How could I forget you!

    :D

Yes, I do remember we got our hides spanked. We were on the losing side of things more than I wish to remember...BUT...like you said...it was all so much fun. When was the last time you heard someone say, "we lost but I really had a good laugh doing it...?"

Wing surfing on the B17...dynamite jumps over Arhnem Bridge...getting pounded by the Missouri...gosh...:D

I think the whole stat hoarding thing has killed off a lot of the pure enjoyment.:(

Anyway, good to see you're still around.

Don't forget swapping sides when Cailith was flying the B17 for the side you were currently on.:biglol:
Agree about the stat hoarding. Worse thing they ever did. I take great pride in one stat that I have though. DogTags = 0. I'm more mature than to go after those. If I come into knife range I think a bullett in the back of the head is much less messy...[IMG]

I remember how many takes it took to get that photo, too :)

I blame Cailith - he never could fly straight ;) :)

Oh that brings back suppressed memories...damn backstabber...LOL

So right. Who needs to go knife the guy when a bit of lead would get there quicker?!?! LOL

Yes...it took ages to get it right...:D

If I remembered correctly we proceeded to kill each other and just gave up...

Ahhh...that's the old TOG way! ;)
